Typhoon Haiyan: Larger aircraft to increase Philippines aid

Larger aircraft will start arriving in the Philippines on Wednesday, which aid agencies hope will allow more people to receive the supplies they desperately need.

Gen Paul Kennedy, commander of US Marine Taskforce, explained to the BBC's Jonathan Head the military's role in distributing aid to those in need across the country.

He said: "This will completely change the pace of our build-up of supplies."
