Afghanistan: One-way trade route in and out of the country

The United States is threatening to pull out of a security pact with Afghanistan unless it is signed by the end of the year.

Without it, billions of dollars of aid could be lost and businesses could fold, according to many entrepreneurs who are urging President Karzai to sign the deal, which was recently endorsed by a grand council of elders.
