Thai PM's plea for cooperation
Thailand's Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has made a tearful plea for anti-government protesters to clear the streets.
She again rejected demands for her to resign before early elections, arranged for February, in favour of a "people's prime minister".
Ms Yingluck won the last polls in 2011, but protesters say her brother, ex-leader Thaksin Shinawatra, is the one really in charge.
