North Korea marks Kim Jong-il death anniversary
North Korea is marking the second anniversary of its former leader's death, in the wake of a dramatic political purge.
Kim Jong-il died unexpectedly two years ago, passing power to his son, Kim Jong-un. but the man appointed to oversee that transition, Chang Song-thaek, was executed last week, after allegedly plotting to grab power for himself.
