Thai opposition stages warm-up protest in Bangkok
Opposition supporters have marched in their thousands through the centre of the Thai capital, Bangkok, hoping to rally support for a larger demonstration later this month.
Campaigners involved in the "Bangkok shutdown" are calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
They are calling for political reforms and the replacement of the current government with a non-partisan administration before February's elections.
