A fisherman from Taiwan, who was washed out to sea by huge waves, has survived three days in the water despite being unable to swim.

Tseng Lien-fa, 42, was at a beach in Hualien county when he was swept out to sea by large waves.

Mr Tseng held on to a piece of wood to stay afloat before rescue workers found him washed up on another beach 75km (46 miles) away.
