Anti-government protesters block Bangkok streets

Anti-government protesters have continued to block parts of Bangkok to force the prime minister to resign.

On Tuesday the government imposed a 60-day state of emergency which came into effect in Bangkok and nearby provinces.

Protesters have accused the government of being run by exiled former leader Thaksin Shinawatra, the brother of the current prime minister, Yingluck Shinawatra.

Jonathan Head reports from Bangkok.
