Preliminary peace talks between the Pakistan government and the Taliban have been delayed.

Negotiations were expected to get under way in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Reports say the two sides have not met yet because the Pakistan government delegation wants further clarification from the Taliban team.

Aleem Maqbool reports from Islamabad.
