Last month, tycoon Cecil Chao offered more than $100 million to the man who could successfully woo his daughter Gigi.

However, Gigi said she is already happily married to a woman.

The drama has thrown a spotlight on attitudes in Hong Kong towards the city's sexual minorities and their lack of legal protection.
