China urges Malaysia to intensify search for flight MH370

China has urged Malaysia to "step up its efforts" in the search for the Malaysia Airlines passenger plane that disappeared on Saturday.

Malaysia says it is widening the search for the airliner that disappeared with 239 people on board - most of whom were Chinese.

It says there have still been no confirmed sightings of any wreckage and all possibilities are being considered, including hijacking.
