Malaysia plane: Minister on new lead and relatives incident

Australia is investigating two objects seen on satellite images that could potentially be debris from the missing Malaysia Airlines plane, officials say.

Malaysia's acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein described the sighting as a "credible" lead.

He also said he regretted the actions of officials, who dragged relatives of missing passengers out of a news briefing on Wednesday for criticising their investigation.

Mr Hussein added that they were taking advice from France, which undertook a two-year search for a jet which crashed into the Atlantic Ocean in 2009.
