Missing plane: Australia navy attempts to recover 'objects'

An Australian navy vessel is trying to recover two objects spotted in the search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott told parliament that an Australian Royal Air Force P-3 Orion spotted the circular and rectangular objects 2500km south west of Perth.

He stressed the items are not definitely debris from the plane, but said he hoped they could help resolve the "tragic mystery".
