Flares dropped to mark ocean debris in search for plane

The BBC's Jon Donnison reports from Perth in Australia, where an Australian Airforce plane has reported a ''positive day'' in the search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

The crew had seen ''several'' objects in the water, and flares were dropped to mark the spot.

The Beijing-bound airliner disappeared on 8 March with 239 people on board.
