Gordon Brown pledges funds for Pakistan education

The former Prime Minister Gordon Brown has pledged that the UN will give $10m - and the EU 100m Euros - to help provide more education for children in Pakistan.

During a visit to Islamabad, Mr Brown, who is head of the UN's global fund for education, said it was unacceptable that 7million children in the country did not go to school.
