Afghan election: Reducing child casualties top priority

In Afghanistan votes are still being counted after Saturday's presidential election.

More than 7 million people defied Taliban threats of violence by going to the polls to select a successor to President Karzai.

A top priority for the new leader will be to try to reduce growing numbers of civilian casualties, among them young children.
