Prominent Pakistan journalist Hamid Mir shot in Karachi

Hamid Mir, one of Pakistan's most prominent television personalities, has been shot and wounded in the city of Karachi.

The presenter for Geo TV was hit by three bullets but was in a stable condition, said officials.
