India election: The mood on the streets in Calcutta

India's Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi has begun a victory parade in Delhi after his opposition BJP party secured the most decisive election victory in three decades.

But the mood in the city of Calcutta is somewhat more reserved. The BBC's Rahul Tandon said that people there were happy that the country has a "strong leader" but wanted "results quickly".

"People want jobs. They want an improvement in infrastructure," he added.
