Anger over Bergdahl prisoner swap

The Afghan government has reacted angrily to a US deal that freed an American soldier, in exchange for five senior Taliban militants from Guantanamo Bay.

The five prisoners were put into the custody of Qatar.

Afghanistan says handing prisoners to a third country is against international law.

The US soldier, Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, is now recovering in a hospital in Germany.

Beth McLeod reports.
