Thai demonstrators 'using Hunger Games protest sign'

People protesting against a military coup in Thailand have started using a three-fingered salute similar to a gesture of defiance in one of the Hunger Games films.

Other interpretations suggest that the three fingers stand for liberty, equality and fraternity, or for freedom, election and democracy.

Thailand has remained relatively calm since May's military coup, with curfews imposed on popular tourist areas lifted.
