Afghanistan candidate challenges opponent to TV debate

A candidate in the upcoming presidential elections in Afghanistan has challenged his opponent to a televised debate.

Ashraf Ghani has accused the front runner, Abdullah Abdullah, of "running scared". Dr Abdullah has so far been unwilling to have a face-to-face debate, but told the BBC he will do so - providing the conditions are right.

David Loyn has been following the two remaining contenders on their campaign trail.
