North Korea threatens retaliation for Kim Jong-un film

North Korea has promised "merciless" retaliation if a forthcoming Hollywood film about killing Kim Jong-un is released.

A North Korean foreign ministry spokesman said in state media that the film's release would be an "act of war".

The row could cause serious diplomatic problems, with three American citizens currently held by Pyongyang.
