Cleric Qadri demands 'true democracy' in Pakistan

Thousands of anti-government demonstrators are continuing to occupy two main highways in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

They are calling for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign over allegations of corruption and electoral fraud in last year's national election.

The demonstrations are led by two opposition figures, one a fiery cleric, Dr Tahirul Qadri, who is seen as close to the country's powerful military.

Shahzeb Jillani reports.
