Hong Kong protests: Tensions build as CE refuses to resign

Tensions are mounting among Hong Kong pro-democracy campaigners as all of their demands are rejected and the chief executive refuses to resign.

Protesters threatened to occupy government buildings if CY Leung did not step down.

Hong Kong police have again called on protesters to disperse, warning of "serious consequences" if they carry out their threats.

The protesters are angry at China's plan to vet candidates for polls in 2017, saying they want full democracy.

Carrie Gracie reports from amid the protesters.
