Trial of Indian Uber taxi driver charged with rape starts

An Indian driver from the web-based taxi firm Uber has gone on trial charged with the rape of a passenger in December.

Delhi has since banned Uber and other web-based taxi firms for failing to carry out adequate checks on drivers.
