US ambassador to South Korea attacked in Seoul

The US ambassador to South Korea, Mark Lippert, was attacked in Seoul by a man who slashed him with a knife

He needed 80 stitches to wounds on his face and wrist after being slashed by a man calling for the reunification of North and South Korea.

Police in South Korea are searching the home of the attacker.
