BBC on the search for Rohingya Muslims stranded at sea

Officials in Thailand say a boat full of migrants from Myanmar which had been stranded along the border with Malaysia is now on its way to Indonesia.

Witnesses in southern Thailand say they saw the boat, carrying around 350 people, being towed by a fishing boat out in international waters.

However it is not clear yet who was towing them, or where they will end up. Many of the migrants were in poor health after nearly three months at sea.

The BBC's Jonathan Head has been trying to track the missing boat in the sea off southern Thailand.
