Samsung chief bows in apology over Mers outbreak

The vice chairman of the Samsung group apologised and accepted responsibility for an outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (Mers) at one of the company's medical centres.

It has been identified as the source of almost half the cases in the South Korean outbreak.

Lee Jae-yong said he felt "terrible" and "deeply responsible".
