Typhoon Chan-hom brings floods and high winds to China

The eastern coast of China is being battered by the powerful typhoon Chan-hom.

Homes and businesses have been evacuated and there has been major transport disruption.

Almost one million people in Zhejiang Province have been moved to safer ground, and the authorities in Shanghai are recommending people stay indoors.
