Sri Lanka's Mahinda Rajapaksa fights corruption claims ahead of poll

Sri Lanka is preparing to vote in parliamentary elections next week but the man who claims responsibility for ending the country's bloody civil war is facing a desperate battle.

Having lost the presidency, Mahinda Rajapaksa is now battling to become an MP and fighting allegations of corruption.
