Kimchi taste test: North and South Korea's pungent pickle rivals

The subtle flavour of North Korean kimchi looks set to join the spicy South Korean version on a UN heritage list.

South Korea's version of the pickled cabbage dish won a place on the Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2013.

Now Unesco says the rival version from the North - or rather the intricate process of making it - could also be worthy of a place.

But which version would win a taste test? The BBC's Stephen Evans sits down to find out.
