New Zealand flag: What do school kids think of new designs?
On Friday New Zealand begins the process of deciding whether it should change its national flag.
The first of two postal referendums starts with Kiwis voting on their preferred alternative flag from five options. Results should come through in December.
The winning design will then enter a second referendum in March, where New Zealanders will be asked if they want to replace the current flag.
A group of primary school children in Auckland had a go at drawing the designs to help the BBC understand each of their symbols.
