Skiing in Afghanistan's snow with homemade skis

Bamiyan province hosts the Afghan Ski Challenge every year for people with a taste for adventure.

Many locals would also love to take part, but cannot afford professional skis. Farmer Mujtaba has found a solution of sorts - carving homemade skis using wood and plastic.
