Dense forest where Japanese boy Yamato Tanooka was found

A seven-year-old Japanese boy, found alive and well a week after being abandoned by his parents as a punishment, made his way to safety through a dense forest in northern Japan.

On Friday Yamato Tanooka was found by a soldier in a military barracks, just a few kilometres from where his parents left him.
