Philippines police van rams protesters outside US embassy

A rally to protest against US troops in the Philippines turned violent as a police van rammed into activists gathered outside the US embassy in Manila.

Footage showed protesters surrounding the van and hitting it with batons taken from police. The vehicle then drives into the crowd several times, injuring a number of people.
