Living giant shipworm found for the first time in Philippines

About the size of a baseball bat, scientists knew giant shipworms existed, but had never examined a live one.

Now a team of researchers have dissected the black, long tube-shaped creature that lives inside a hard case, for the first time in the Philippines.
