Jacinda Ardern: 'I was open about my motherhood plans'

Repeated questions by interviewers about whether New Zealand's new female opposition leader wants to be a mother has sparked a sexism row in the country.

Jacinda Ardern told the BBC she had often been open about the issue when talking to other women - but had not expected it to be used to cast doubt on her political leadership qualifications.
