Tear gas fired in Islamabad 'blasphemy' clashes

About 200 people were injured when security forces tried to disperse an Islamist sit-in in Pakistan's capital Islamabad.

The protesters have been blocking a key highway for several weeks, demanding the sacking of a minister whom they accuse of blasphemy.

The government later called for troops to be deployed to restore order.
