Mount Mayon: Fears of major volcano eruption in Philippines

Philippine authorities have raised the alert level over Mount Mayon, an active volcano known for its deadly eruptions.

The volcano began spewing ash and rocks over the weekend and on Monday morning magma could be seen in its crater.

Thousands of villagers living nearby have been evacuated from their homes.
