Myanmar coup: Casualties rise as police step up crackdown

Police have fired on protesters in Myanmar killing at least 10, according to medics, on the deadliest day since rallies against the country's coup began.

Deaths were reported in Yangon, Dawei and Mandalay.

Gunfire was heard on the streets of the city of Dawei amidst continuing protests.
