China heatwave: Meat fried on streets of Shanghai

Residents sweltering in the heatwave in Chinese city of Shanghai have been able to fry meat on the pavement.

Temperatures in parts of the country have hit record highs, prompting an emergency level-two nationwide heat alert for the first time.
