Chinese journalist jailed for 'sharing secrets'

A prominent Chinese journalist has been sentenced to seven years in prison.

Gau Yu was said to have leaked an internal memo meant for the upper echelons of the ruling Communist Party, which warned against political threats posed by Chinese civil society and western-style media outlets.
