Mysterious-looking fog hides Chinese island

Fog has enveloped an island in eastern China, almost completely hiding its buildings from sight.

Aerial footage shows the advection fog rolling over Beihuangcheng Island.

The spectacle happens when wind blows moist and warm air over a colder surface and cools down.
