North Korea refugee's fears over continuing Kim dynasty

North Korea's leadership is expected to announce plans next week for the transfer of power from Kim Jong-il to his son.

But many North Koreans are still trying to escape the country's authoritarian regime.

A couple of months ago Choi Young-hee, a woman in her 70s, paid smugglers to carry her across the heavily guarded river that separates North Korea from China.

Her daughter also tried to cross, but she was caught and is now in a North Korean political prison.

Choi Young-hee spoke to BBC News about why she fled and the fears she has about the likely new regime.
