Kim Jong-un attends North Korea parade

North Korea has been celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Workers' Party with the biggest military parade in the history of the country, according to government officials.

The parade is being attended by the North Korean leader Kim Jong-il and his youngest son Kim Jong-un, who is widely expected to succeed him.

The country's state television is showing a rare live broadcast of the event in the capital Pyongyang, as Chris Hogg reports.
