Aung San Suu Kyi speaks to supporters

The freed Burmese opposition leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, has spoken to supporters and journalists at her party headquarters in Rangoon. She said she'll talk to Western nations about lifting sanctions if that's what the Burmese people want.

Earlier she had told supporters not to give up hope and says she has no ill feeling towards those who detained her.

The Nobel Peace Prize winner has been detained for 15 of the past 21 years.
