Robot films inside NZ mine
All 29 miners, including two Britons, trapped underground in a New Zealand mine are believed to be dead after a second explosion.
Police Supt Gary Knowles said there was no hope that anyone could have survived the "massive" underground blast at the Pike River mine on South Island.
The second blast came just hours after a drilling team broke a narrow shaft through to the section of the mine where the missing workers were believed to have been.
Two military robots had also been sent into the mine giving officials and rescue workers their first glimpse inside. Phil Mercer reports from New Zealand.
