Woman is victim of Australia floods

Floods in the Australian state of Queensland have claimed their first victim as water levels continue to rise.

A woman drowned after her car was swept off a causeway.

Vast areas of northeastern Australia are still under water, and people in Rockhampton have been warned flood waters may rise to up to nine metres (30 feet) on Monday and peak at 9.4 metres on Wednesday.

The BBC's Nick Bryant reports.
