Mayor praises resident's 'camaraderie' amid floods
Residents in the flood-hit Australian city of Rockhampton are preparing themselves for floodwaters to peak.
The Fitzroy River which flows through the Queensland city is at 9.2m (30ft) and expected to hit 9.4m, having already swamped hundreds of acres.
Speaking on Wednesday the Mayor of Rockhampton, Brad Carter, said the worst was yet to come but praised the community's resilience and camaraderie.
