Japan wants 'more collaboration' with China and South Korea
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and South Korean President Lee Myung-bak have visited areas of Japan that were devastated by the tsunami and earthquake.
Mr Wen said he felt pain in his heart after seeing how the Japanese people had suffered.
The visit came ahead of a trilateral dialogue which is set to pledge support for Japan's efforts to recover from the catastrophe.
The BBC's Roland Buerk in Tokyo says that Japanese want to see greater collaboration between the three nations.
