Thailand floods: Waters rising north of Bangkok

Rising floodwaters in Thailand are putting more districts north of Bangkok under threat.

The government is trying to lower the water levels by redirecting it through the capital's canals to the sea.

Residents have been urged to move their belongings to higher floors.

Thailand is facing its worst floods in decades with more than 340 people dead and a third of all provinces inundated.
